Mayan Ecotours

Welcome to the home of Mayan Ecotours, a service that ensures that your vacation is both relaxing and environmentally friendly. We offer a variety of different getaways within the historical area of the once great Mayan civilization. Our goal is to allow you to come and discover the wonders of the Maya while benefitting the land’s local inhabitants by raising awareness and protection for the local environment. It is our duty to preserve the legacy of the Mayan civilization because they were a great and well developed nation. Their history and culture still remains relatively unknown to historians today, so it falls onto us to protect any historical remains left by the people who surpassed Spanish expectation. The Mayan civilization consisted of an advanced group of people who had a well developed political, social and governmental system. Their technological and architectural achievements are some examples of what makes them such an outstanding nation. Mayan Ecotours was created to ensure that everyone can have a chance to experience the magnificent remains of the Mayan people, while still preserving their history by making eco-friendly decisions.
